After having met Katsuo Kenji was now sitting on a bench outside some cafe now in Neo Domino city.. He could hardly believe he was here finally. Duel Academy was a fresh start and a new chance to get better. A chance to become better and stronger. He had always won his duels so easily until he met Takashi Yamoto. Even though he had put up a good fight he had lost in the end. He had shown proper respect but the guy shrugged him off calling him worthless in the process. He said he lacked what dueling was all about. That it was just fun and games to him. He had called him a liar in the end but he wondered if he was right? Had he just been riding on luck until now. He wasn't sure what he lacked but it must've been why people still didn't respect him.
"Tch I don't believe that," Kenji muttered to himself now. He wouldn't give up until people started respecting him. Being here at Duel Academy now he hoped things would change. That he'd finally make friends and make a name for himself. Orange Flash was the nickname he had earned back home but here he was just Kenji Namikaze. That was how he preferred it for now. He reached into a pocket now and pulled out a frog wallet. He popped it open and pulled out his deck of cards finding the Kyubi card on the bottom. He wasn't even sure how he had gotten that card. He had found it after losing to Takashi. That wasn't the only thing he had found though.
'No one will ever respect someone like you,' came a voice now. Kenji looked over his shoulder to find Kyubi sitting on his right shoulder now. Yes along with strange fox monster card he had found a duel spirit of it as well. He appeared when he felt like it but only to him it seemed. He said it was his great potential and power that had drawn Kyubi to him. "Shut up. I'll become the best one day and everyone will have to respect me even Takaski Yamoto." He looked up to the sky now and smirked. Today was the start of something new and grand for him.

Ailah glanced down at her watch. She still had time before she had to be at the club. Of course she had to keep track of time. If the famous DJ Ailah didn’t show up it would be trouble. She was young, but she had worked hard establishing a name for herself as a DJ and as an alternate person. She knew her parents would never approve of her wanting to be a DJ, thus the guise. She rounded the corner. It was a good disguise too. Not even people that had meet her before suspected that both Ailah’s were actually the same. Most just thought ‘DJ Ailah’ was just a nickname because it was so catchy. Truth be told, that was part of the reason she hadn’t changed it. However the other part was she just liked it. No need to change something she liked. There wasn’t much of a downside to it. Except no one knew. Just her. Not even her parents. Her cover? She was just a student at Duel Academy. A good one actually. One that was the shining picture of everything one could hope for in a duelist. Of course that was just for now. Her parents wanted her to become a pro duelist after she left the academy. That was two years from now. What happened then? How long would she be able to keep acting then? When it would that her secret got out? She didn’t want to break her parents hearts, but at the same time she loved to DJ. She frowned as she checked the strap on her bag, it contained the list of songs she would be using tonight. Her eyes wondered to the boy and the duel spirit. A new student? She think she remembered his duel actually. Quite impressive unless it was someone else, but DJ Ailah knew nothing about that. To her it was just another person on the street. Only this one had a duel spirit. Still, unless it talked to her she might not acknowledge it. And even then that was questionable. To talk to him and risk being found out later or just move on? She felt her cover was secure enough so why not. ”Hey you.” she said to get his attention as she ran towards him and stopped quite shy. ”I don’t suppose you’ve heard of any new clubs around here have you?” she asked skipping straight to the point. The Kyubi had spotted the girl when she arrived whereas Kenji had been staring up at the sky. She seemed hesitant about approaching the blonde but he didn't care. He just hoped she went away soon. However that wasn't the case when she came running over now. Kenji was snapped from his thoughts when he heard a girl's voice now. Looking over he spotted her standing there. He was still as she asked him about there being any new clubs around here. "I wouldn't know really sorry. I'm kinda new around here you could say name. Name's Kenji Namikaze."
He hadn't really bothered to look for any yet. That was something on a list to do if he ever got a girlfriend and what were the chances of that happening. Pretty slim to none he figured. "Is that your job or something? You work at a club? Sounds pretty sweet to me." Looking her up and down he wouldn't figured she was a student too. She seemed more like a regular civilian to him. She was hot and good looking though but again what chance would he have with her. Best to just push it to the back of his mind and at least befriend her for now.

Ailah didn’t let her eyes wonder to where the duel spirit was sitting. She wouldn’t acknowledge it she had decided. She studied him as his words sank in. New to town. A frown appeared on her face as she sighed. ”Figures as much.” she said idly toying with her bag. She might not want to make a habit of hanging with him, to much, but he was new so she should at least do something. Her eyes took a distance look pondering what to do next as his words would pull her back to reality at his next question. She blinked in surprise. She had thought everyone had heard of her. She opened her mouth to mention just that then shut it. She remembered he had said he wasn’t from here. ”Yea. I DJ it.” she said pausing to let out a slow chuckle. ”I suppose in that respect you could say I run the club.” she said offering him a small smile. Hmm, there was that event later, should she invite him. She offered her hand for now. ”DJ Ailah.” she said remembering something her parents had said about her at one point. A girl with no manners. One who should be more like her. ”So what brings you here if not the clubs?” she asked. Truth be told there was a lot to do in the city, but what was his reason for being here? Kenji blinked at her comment watching her fiddle with her bag. Had he dont something to upset her or maybe she was just disappointed. She seemed to have a distant look now as she seemed to ponder something. She seemed to want to say something only to hesitate. Finally she confirmed she was a DJ after all. He smiled sheepishly running a hand through his hair then lightly chuckling. She had a great sense of humor and was good looking too. Still she'd probably never like him like that. He shrugged and then looked up when she had given her name as DJ Ailah.
"The DJ Ailah. I've heard a lot about you from my old schoolmates. Your prettier than what I heard." He smiled sheepishly again rubbing his chin with a hand now. He took her hand when offered and smiled. "Duel Academy. Seems my dueling skills needs to be refreshed. My game is missing something. Until then I can't defeat him." Kenji said the last bit scowling a bit. He then looked to Ailah and smiled sheepishly shrugging it off now. "Perhaps you can show me a good time then or give me a tour at least. Gives us time to get to know each other become friends at least."

She nodded at his words more of less ignoring her mind. So it seemed he had heard of her after all. She had to stop herself from rolling her eyes at his next statement. Such an understatment. And even if it hadn’t been that would’ve been only the zillionth time she heard that. Still she did no such thing the smile on her face remaining. She was used to hiding things from everyone. That realization stuck into her, her smile faltered for a fraction of a second because of it. It happened so post Kenji would probably think she was just imagining it all. She nodded at his mention of Duel Academy. She pondered it and then spoke up. ”I heard it’s kinda difficult to get into.” she pondered the last part of his statement. ”Him?” she asked hestantly. A tour? Did she have time? The city was huge. She glanced down at her watch. Three hours. That’s how long she had before she needed to be there to set everything up. Could they really go through the whole city in that short of a time. She frowned considering it. Still she let out a sigh. ”Only because I don’t want you to get lost .” she said that smile returning again. ”Anywhere in particular you’re looking for?” she asked. Kenji noticed she seemed to smile at his compliment but he could tell it was false. If she had actually liked it she would've blushed somewhat probably. He shrugged he still had to get to know her first so it was only natural. He looked when she responded saying something about Duel Academy. "I suppose it is for someone starting out fresh and all. I'm a semi pro so I had enough skill to ace my entrance exam. I have so much to still learn I guess." Kenji smiled sheepishly running a hand through his hair now. He looked up again when Ailah asked him about 'him'. He scratched his head a little leaning back in his seat now.
"Tatsuki Yamoto. Some Pro back home where I come from. I dueled him a tournament and nearly beat him. It was a good duel but he was a jerk about it and insulted me calling me worthless." He sighed lightly scratching his head again. He was just stuck-up and full of himself or maybe it was just his pride. Something had happened in the guy's past that made him that way. Possibly being an orphan was the root of it. Kenji had only lost his father but Tatsuki had lost his whole family. He couldn't even begin to inderstand how that felt.
"Well if your busy I could just tag along with you for a bit. A tour can always wait for later." Kenji smiled sheepishly running a hand through his hair now. "Well I didn't have anywhere in particular really. Just places you think are good or mentionable is enough for me." He stood now and stretched a little before grabbing his backpack throwing it over his shoulder now.

He had said he was semi-pro, but what did that mean by that? That he went to occasional tournament? A lot of people did that. Her eyes took on a curious look at the name of Tatsuki Yamoto. Truth be told she had heard of him, however her DJ side usually only dueled for events. It was doubtful that she would know him. She gave him a shrug at the end of it still ignoring his duel spirit. ”Sounds rough.” she said. Hmmm. His next words. Now it was her turn to scratch her head. A tour might be better to wait for another time. Or maybe. Someone else to be more exact. Her other half would do it well enough. She shrugged. Still anywhere you’re looking for?” she asked. Her earlier question still stood. Of course if he asked her about good places to mention he’d be hearing a lot of clubs. After all they were the most fun thing about the entire city.
