Character Name: Faor Ventar
Character Age: 19
Character Gender: Male
Character Role: Student, Obelisk Blue
--Year: 2
Character Appearance:
--Face Claim: Allen Walker from D. Gray Man
Character Personality: Happiness. The single raw emotion gushes from this white-haired duelist, as he goes about his day-to-day activities and tackles them with tenacity. He isn't the brightest student, but it doesn't stop him from trying his very hardest anyways, and through his willingness to do this, he charges through problems like they're nothing. A frown is almost never seen on the student!
But more often than he is happy, he seems as if he knows a lot more about things than he lets on, as if he has life figured out. If he sees someone having a problem, Faor, more often than not, knows how to fix it. Even if the answer isn't the most popular one.
The times where Faor is angry; he is conflicted, saddened, can't seem to get things straight, and as if the entire world had fallen apart, and it's up to him to put it all back together. Fortunately, this almost never happens, and when it's about to, Faor cheers himself up right out of it. It takes a lot to make the Obelisk Blue like this.
--Duel Spirits:
Arcana Force III - The Empress
Crystal Beast Ruby Carbuncle
--Deck(s):
"My spirit shall guide me...!!" - Arcana Force deck
"In memory of her warmth." - Crystal Beast deck
Biography: Faor's story starts in high school, where he was completely different than what he was now. Then, he looked at things in the most negative way possible, and only saw the dark side of things. Everything was impossible, and he wasn't about to do anything about it. And then, out of nowhere, he met a girl known as Zoroa. And the moment they met, it was love at first sight for the young Faor, and it was the same for the young Zoroa. Almost immediately, they began to talk to one another, and, became the best friends from there on.
"Sunny, cloudy, rainy, snowy, and windy days, they are all colors to paint each moment with you!" ~ Zoroa
The two were inseparable, and as time went on, Faor began to change into a kind, loving individual. Not because Zoroa forced the change, but by simply being around her, Faor began to slowly, but surely, stop seeing things so negatively like he usually would. And as he changed, the two got ever closer, where her personality rubbed off on the white-haired individual so much that the two almost acted completely alike. Both were passionate about living, seeing new horizons and expanding their current skills to charge forth towards them. And when things got hard, their strength powered through everything. When they dueled, they both dueled with a fiery passion that lit up even the darkest corners of their hearts.
But above all, it was Zoroa that taught Faor to have faith. Not faith in a God above, but faith in oneself, and through that, one would project their intentions, and all of their possibilities into the world around them.
The unthinkable happened one day, however. An out-of-control vehicle, when the two were crossing an intersection, barreled seemingly out of nowhere. The two were hit. Faor made it out with a major injury to his arm and leg which he eventually fully recovered, probably by his way of thinking and the encouraging words the two gave to one another.
Zoroa, however, wasn't so lucky. After Faor had made a complete recovery, Zoroa's condition worsened, and suddenly, died. The young duelist was torn asunder by the event, so much so that, for a while, he not only reverted back to his original behavior, but worsened even.
And, one day, Ruby Carbuncle appeared to him as a duel spirit, from Zoroa's Crystal Beast deck that he carried around with him in memory of her. It could not speak, yet the two once more shared an instant connection.
"I shouldn't be sad like this... there's a whole life to live, right? I'm sure she wouldn't like it if she saw me like this, wouldn't she..."
Faor said to the duel spirit, as the Duel Spirit agreed wholeheartedly. "Alright, I'll give it all I got! I'll live to the fullest... for both of us!!"
