Biography:
Myra's original last name was Kishimoto and she came from a poor family growing up. Her father was a drunk and a bum who always lost his job. Her mother was constantly working with her singing career and had little time to spend with Myra. Despite this as a child Myra was rather cheerful and optimistic. She was pretty smart for an eight year old and really enjoyed playing games with the neighborhood boys. When she got the chance she really enjoyed going on walks with her mother or going to the nearby park. She also enjoyed singing with her mother and made it her dream to become a singer like her mother one day.
She was eleven when both of her parents were killed in a car accident after her father ran a red light. Myra was then sent to an orphanage and shortly after was sent to a boarding school for girls. She fellt alone and scared sometimes but her singing would cheer her up since it reminded her of her good times with her mother. Myra took a deep liking to her studies and excelled in all of her subjects. Still she felt something was missing in her life. It was then that she discovered duel monsters from one of her girlfriends and developed a deep interest and love for the game. She immediately sought a job as a singer in order to purchase cards and built her first deck Bubbleman Burn. When she managed to get free time she would duel in local tournaments normally making it to the semi-finals before losing. She also become popular in the singind world taking up the stage name Myra Snow because of her snow-white colored hair.
Not disheartened by her lack of dueling skills she kept up dueling. Wanting to further her game she then discovered Duel Academy. She then saved up all she could and used most of her savings to make it to Duel Academy. Once there she took her entrance exams and did well enough to get placed into Obelisk Blue. Her first year she naturally exceled in her studies and was top of her class. She also took up a job as a tutor in order to help other students who were struggling or were less fortunate than her and got a job at a Karioke club singing every other night. She did manage to save up enough for a second year and so she returned eager to better her duel skills and increase her mental capacity on the game. She also recently made her second deck Reactor Burn.
