Here are some Role Playing rules to keep in mind while RPing at Blazing academy.
1. Regarding accounts.
You must make a new account per character. Please name them accordingly. For example, say I make a character named Katsuo Esper. I would need to make an account named Katsuo Esper, and any posts I make with that character being the key focus, I would post in that account.
If I were to make a different character, he/she would get it's own account as well, and I would do all my posts regarding that character as the main key focus with that account. Not only does this clear some confusion as to what character you're using, but it also allows you to (sort of!) double, triple, or quadruple post while keeping the topic updated.
2. Regarding characters from other series.
No, you may not use characters from other series, fandoms, video games, stories, shows, anime, everything! Similarly, you may also not use canon characters from the main Yu-Gi-Oh show. Your character may not be related to any of these characters as well, or have a strong connection with them (This RP's time is set in the Zexal era, so all those characters aside from Yuma is long dead!).
You may, however, use face claims from those characters that you love so much, and build your profile around their character if you wish. But they must not be those characters in particular.
3. Regarding Duel Spirits.
Yes. Nothing super over powered as a Duel Spirit though.
4. Duels must be carried out on actual dueling sites. Such as Dueling Network, Yugioh Virtual Dueling , any of the video games, or scripting it out. The method must be decided before the duel. You do not have to show the entire duel. It is okay to show only the last few turns. Also in Turbo Duels it is up to both players to get track of the speed spells. Tag Duels must be played out on the forum. At the end of your turn please use the following template at the end of your post:
5. To duel someome you must first have a deck list posted. It is okay to have more then one, just make sure to post them all.
6. No God modding.
This is obvious. Your character is not an all powerful god that can avoid every attack known to man and then to some acrobatic kick over their head while making a clone of themselves to kick them in the back while some other guy in the background is charging up a laser to fire at them. ... You get the point, right? Please be realistic with your character's specifications and how they react to certain situations.
This also includes taking control of other characters as well. You may not take control of others characters unless you have the express, written permission of the owner of that character. It is very rude, and you will not make friends doing it.
7. Regarding multiple locations
You can RP your character in multiple locations, as long as it makes sense and won't be a time paradox. We will keep track of time as in Seasons, so that past and future events are clearly distinguishable.
8. Regarding dorm rooms, or frequently visited locations
For Dorm rooms, houses of characters, or anything of the like, you only need one topic. In this topic, you are allowed to post as many times as you wish there without fear or need of anyone to post back to you. It is your living space, after all! Name your topic something fitting, like Dorm room 642 if you're a student, or '____'s room' if you're a civilian or School Staff.
More than likely, most of these posts are going to be your character getting in and out of bed from night to day. You aren't required to post every time this happens, but if you have something you wish your character to reflect on, or maybe you wish your character to experience a dream about things important to them, this would be the best use of your topic.
Or, if you have roommates, this topic would best serve as your meeting ground as well if they so choose to interact. But at any rate, the main thing to keep in mind is that you only need one topic for your room, and you can post as much as you like without anyone else posting.
