So is it just me, or does anyone else really miss the original Yu-Gi-Oh! series?? Dont get me wrong, i liked GX and im growing to like 5Ds... but I dont think either of them can really beat the original.
It just isnt ygo without the lovable gang of characters, the heart wrenching and mind-boggling plots that were rich in ancient history, and the alure of egypt.... Not to say that the new serie' dont have these things too, but I think the original series had a much stronger plot line overall.
So just me? :/

Actually, to be quite honest, GX is my least favorite series of them all, but the whole academy thing is just too good to pass up as a Role Playing setting..
But I do miss the original series. It was the one I remember waking up to every Saturday to watch when I was little, just to see what would happen to Yugi in his duels against Pegasus, Marik, everything. Of course everything after that, for me, seems weak in comparison because it was what I grew up with. (except for Zexal, I'm really liking it thus far...)
The original was undoubtedly amazing (With my Nostalgia-vision on at least...).

Yeah, yeah I know I'll be forever alone in this opinion. But I like GX. I like the setting I like the plot and I like the characters. I can't remember the orginal when it aired, but I remember loving to watch GX, until I stopped kinda playing Yugioh, but when I got back into it I finally went back to watching it and I have to say....It's not bad. I liked it. Just not as much as GX. I would personally like to see more of season 4 (The World Tournament Hosted by Kibia for those of you that don't know.) Speaking of the President of Kabia Corp is Noah Kabia.  |

Hm.... I liked GX, and 5D's is certainly interesting. but i just cant really connect to it like i could with the original series... and maybe its just because i was younger, but the original series had so much more drama. I miss it a lot, and ive been searching forever to find a site where i can RP the original canons, but so far no luck :/ Also, what is YuGiOh ZEXAL?  i found the category on FF.net under anime o.o |

Also, what is YuGiOh ZEXAL? i found the category on FF.net under anime o.o It's the new Yu-Gi-Oh! Series that everyone is hating just because the character's hair designs "look retarded" and that everyone wears scouters from DBZ. Soon enough, everyone thinks one of the characters will turn Super Saiyan. -Looks at Zexal Episode 24-  Oh hey look, a Super Saiyan! Despite these things, it's quite enjoyable. Plus, since we're set in the ZEXAL setting (Dun worry, we'll allow all sorts of duel disks and whatnot so you don't have to use scouters.), it might be advantageous to watch a few episodes or so to see the new duel disks and how stuff works. |
