1. You only need one approval by any staff member. This will more than likely be done by HeadAdmin or his character accounts, Katsuo Esper (or any others that are to be made.)
2. Place your completed/incomplete character template in the 'Pending' forum. That way staff may look at your application as you make it and can point out flaws early on if needed. Title your character topic application the name of your character.
3. If you don't finish your character in one go put something similar to '[WIP]' in the title. Or Work In Progress. You will have a month to finish it before it is moved to the Rejected/Inactive subforum. When your Character Application is done, place somewhere in the topic title ' [DONE] ' so that a staff member may review your application more in depth. You only need to do this if you label it as '[WIP]'.
4. When your application is accepted, it will be moved to the 'Accepted Profiles' forum. If it is rejected, it will still remain in pending for you to make corrections to it and to re-submit it.
5. If, at any time, you express to a staff member that you will not work on your unfinished application and want it gone, it will be moved to Rejected/Inactive profiles. This also applies to characters that are currently actually being RP'd: if the owner of said character no longer wants to RP them, they will be required to RP themselves out of the RP somehow, and then the application will be moved to Rejected/Inactive profiles as an Inactive Profile.
6. Character Creation
When creating your character, include as much information as possible! It is absolutely fine if you wish to keep information about your character secret for later plot purposes, or to keep it withheld for future character development purposes.
Please also note that a person is allowed 1 character to start with. After ten posts with that character in the RP, you are allowed to make a second character, and after 15 posts combined with both characters, a third character will be open to you. Since then, you will gain up to seven character slots every 20 posts. Remember your character does not have to duel. You can make civilians!
If you wish for additional character slots after you have attained 7 slots, or you wish to make a character that is not permanent or for plot purposes, PM a staff member to discuss it.
Please be realistic in your profile. No one's characters should be a god that can control everything, spent his childhood life in a temple of the sky, and has a bajillion lightsabers and uses them regularly.
You are allowed to, however, have different races for your character (Vampires, half dragon/half human, werewolves, etc.) as long as you can explain it. Your character cannot be an alternate race out of nowhere just because 'it's awesome.' Explain how they got to be that race in their profile, or maybe they already were that race and you would need to explain how they came to be.
7. If, you wish to take out a profile that has been moved to Reject/Inactive profiles to work on it or re-enter it back into the roleplay, PM a staff member. It will need to go under the approval process once again with either updated or amended information.
8. Profiles cannot be changed once they are accepted! If you truly want to change something in a profile that has already been accepted, PM a staff member about it. Please be sure that your change encompasses a lot of things and is very important, for the staff member has the right to not bother if it's not that all important. If necessary, they will move the profile back to Pending so you can do everything you need to. But it will need to be re-approved.
