Character Personality: Cold, uncaring, just wants to get things over with. He secretly likes cute things such as cats, but he dares to never show this side to anyone. He seems tough on the outside, but it is only a front. A weak soul and a defenseless heart await those that dig deeper. It is within his interests to keep as many people out of his heart, and not be attached to anyone, out of fear that they will hurt him. He is prone to ignore people if they annoy him, or tune out things that don't interest him, and because of this, he managed to get by his first year without advancing dorms at all.

Biography: Azure comes from a fairly long line of Duel Disk technicians, whom research and develop new types of hologram technology, card scanning devices, and a lot of the sort. Their latest invention, the D-Gazer, was introduced some ten years ago, and ever since, they've been getting massive amounts of money in royalties from Kaiba Corp, the company that produces them.
Azure's father, hearing about Duel Academy's rather prestigious standing and hearing of a very nice Duel Disk Technician course, was to send off his only son to gain an education. But is it really what Azure wanted?
To be quite honest, Azure always found himself wanting to draw. He wanted to draw all sorts of things! To have his art be seen all around the world! And what better way to do that than to draw for Duel Monsters?
Industrial Illusions held a contest, back when Xyz monsters were first being produced, where many people would submit their designs, and Industrial Illusions would select the best ones out of the bunch and make cards out of them. Azure Vindice's Baby Tragon was one of the winners. He was overjoyed that he won, a welcome change from his usual coldness, but then he remembered...
He was to be a Duel Disk Technician like his Father before him, not some artist. Unsure of what to do, he was forcefully shipped to Duel Academy to learn of the job he didn't want to do.
