Character Personality: Cali is a happy go lucky person. She usually has a positive attitude about most things, though at times she has been known to be angry or upset. Her curiosity is her biggest factor often taking he places she shouldn’t be or getting her in trouble. However at times she can seem rather childish taking things much too personally. She often has a habit of drawing her friends into her actives with her and is fiercely protective of them. Though good at heart sometimes her intentions can be taken the wrong way.

Biography: Cali comes from a well to do family of 5. She often was ignored being the 2nd youngest of the group. At first this caused discouragement to seem all around her. However soon she quickly turned it into a quest. What could she do that would grab others attention? What was fun? These were the things she started to seek out. At age 9 she was able to see her Duel Spirit.
Cali soon drove her duel spirit crazy with her ‘live while you can’ antics. This often caused her partner in crime to worry over her, but to Cali she was the truest friend she ever had and secretly she meant the world to her. So she continued on in her mad quest eventually picking up dueling in the process. This was one thing her family did notice. And frowned upon. She was too young they said. She would never make it in such a game at her age. Cali however wasn’t discouraged by this in the least. Eventually she picked up quite a few cards. And the one belonging to her duel spirit.
Cali learned and practiced her dueling skills. Finally at the age of 10 she was ready to make her debut. For her first duel she challenged the biggest person around that she knew. A Pro who happened to live in the area. She invited everyone she could think of and honestly everyone came out to see what the Pro could do. They all counted Cali out. Cali tried her best in that duel, but it was still nothing. He defeated her in a few short turns much to her humiliation which most of the kids in her family scoffing at her for it.
Cali was devastated to say the least. She swore never to duel again after that. She was taunted the rest of time in that town. If not by words themselves then by the whispers of people as she walked by. The girl who had dared to challenge the Pro himself. Her duel spirit convinced her to give it another try when she introduced her to a new archetype. Watts. Cali grateful as ever to her friend trained to be the best after that. She decided to shoot for it all again. A year later she was ready. She challenged him to a duel again. This time the duel was much closer and in the end Cali won. Unfortunately most did not come thinking it would be the same as the first duel.
Cali was overjoyed at the fact as her ambitions grew higher and higher thinking the sky was the limit. She heard of a school that trained people to become professional duelists. Initially her parents refused saying she was too young and still had things to learn. Cali pestered them constantly about it the next 2 years learning more and more about dueling only wanting to go all the more. Eventually her parents agreed and she was sent to Duel Academy at the young age of 13.
She aced her entrance exams and her entrance duel landing her a position in Ra Yellow Dorm. Her parents knew she could do better. However in class Cali’s mind would often drift off thinking about all the things there were to do here all the people she could duel. And all the friends she could make. For this reason she barely kept good enough grades to stay in the Ra dorm, much less advance to the Obelisk. So she returned to Duel Academy this year with high hopes and good spirits (as always) in search of adventure, friends, and hoping for a shot at the big leagues this time around.
