plot; Erik is lost and is looking for the movies when she meets someone that might help her and she invits them to the movies with her. Erik stood in the middle of the city, she was totally lost. And she didn’t have a clue of where she was. She felt greatly scared of not knowing where she was in this city. She was looking for the movie theater because she wanted to see the week’s movie of the week. She sighed and leaned on a building and then placing her hand on cheek she rubbed it in a distressing way. This was painful to her mind,
Darn it, how did I get lost?
She suddenly choked back her tears; she had be strong; If not for herself then the ones that took her in. she then moved away from the wall and then she started to walk down the street. She felt weird, like her tummy was on fire as her fear fell from her heart into her belly. She stopped at the corner as she almost cried. she was lost and she wasn't having a good day it seemed,
Damnit, NO. do not cry.
She was going to be strong and not cry, as she froced her self not to cry.

Neb walked along with his group of adventurers. Well to be more precise, children. He had often came from Domino City to Satellite City before he entered the academy. He didn’t really like hanging around his house all that much and he wasn’t really social so he decided to do something with his time. He knew for a fact that those in Satellite city, were usually not as well off so he started a group for kids that wanted it. It was a place where they could come and learn to duel and when he had a few cards to spare he gave them to them. It wasn’t the best thing, but since a lot revolved around dueling it was a better way to get out of here then most. ”Hey not too far.” Neb said watching the kids smiling. “You can’t catch me.” He teased the other kid running turning around to stick his tongue out as he ran a corner and suddenly fell backwards. He glanced to the corner and hurried his pace. He reached it and first made sure the kid was okay. Then he glanced at the person he had run into. ”Sorry he wasn’t looking.” he said finally noticing her eyes. The kid got up and walked over to her. “Sorry miss.” He said. “Yeah, sorry your clumsy.” The other one said. Erik was almost bumped over suddenly as she heard kids running around behind her, she side stepped as she heard a voice of a child as it quickly was carried to her ears, so she only lost her footing, and even that she gained back quickly then a human would have. She didn’t smiled, but she didn’t frown, it was as if she didn’t care if they did run into her, she only smiled slightly at the children’s verbal fighting.
I know humans are almost like us, but the eyes give me away …. Glasses.
She thought as she took out her darken glasses and placed it on her face to hide her eyes, while for a human they would darken the world, for her, it was still clear as if she didn’t have them on. She blinked at the older boy who if he was one her kind he would have been around her age. She nodded at his words. She smiled slightly trying to give the air of no anger. She wasn’t made, just slightly put off from being touched, but the child was not, but a child. A young one to protect if needed. As it was her people’s way. She didn’t move other than to take a single step away from the group as she spoke,
Its ok… no harm done to my person or to you, young one.
She spoke in perfect English, having long since mastered it, as she noted the young ones that were around this older male in the casual wear, were acting like they did this all the time. She cocked her head slowly before she asked in a quiet voice, as if it wasn’t her right to ask,
Can you tell me what part of the Satellite city I am in, please?
she didn’t want to give into her feelings as she was an Aijjia who was now prone to fall into the trap of fear. It was her life now; she danced thus far in her life since the humans had entered her life and took it and made it their own. she didn’t want anything to do with humans, while her face was fine, but the rest of her person was scared to the point of looking like she was taken apart at her joints and put back together; which did happen. But that is another point in her life that wouldn’t be thought about again until later.
She paused and then looked at the sign above her which read “Dove Street.” She was going to need a map or something soon. She looked back at the young man hope showing in her eyes that he could answer her question in a manner that he looked of knowing how it was it be answered.

Sunglasses? That was an odd thing to have. True some preferred them just for the look of them, but somehow that didn’t seem to be the case here. He turned to the kid who had run off chasing the girl now for her earlier comment. ”Not to far.” he called out. He turned to the girl offering her a weak smile. ”Sorry about them. They’re just excited is all.” he explained his eyes drifting to follow them. His gaze was directed back to her as she spoke again. She was lost? Well that explained a bit. He didn’t see a lot of people really wanting to visit this part of time just because. He frowned. ”Officially, we’re just in Satellite.” he said before dropping his voice. ”Unofficially, were in the slums of Satellite.” he said. Well it was supposedly all the same city in reality it wasn’t. There was a side that stayed out of the public eye. Away from publicity. That’s where they were now. ”What brings you here anyway?” he asked his voice picking up once more. Tag: Erik Song: ”If Today Was Your Last Day” by Nickelback Key: Thoughts; ”Dialouge”Notes:

Erik nodded; it was expected for a city to have slums, though she had to say she hadn’t seen them like this before. She pushed her sunglasses up as they kept sliding down her nose, then she cocked her head as she answered his question,
A wrong turn is what brings me here.
She had to smirk at her own slight dry joke as she then added,
I was going to see a movie. And I seemly took a wrong turn……. Again.
She shook her head; it was most likely too late to see a movie, she was going to have to rethink her plans on this. And it would be best to ask about a movie theater around here, right? She slowly sighed, and then asked,
There wouldn’t happen to be a movie theater around here would there?
She paused she suddenly guessed she should ask for his name or the like, before diverting to ask,
But I am being impolite for rambling, I am Erik. What is your name?

Neb blinked at the person in front of him. A wrong turn? Hadn’t she noticed at one point or another the change in scenery? Or maybe something else had happened, something she wasn’t telling him. If that was the case it might make more sense. ”A wrong turn? Must’ve been one heck of a wrong turn.” he said joking with her. He paused to think about her next question. A movie theater? ”Hmmm. I don’t know of any around here.” he said considering the question. There was one in the better sections of town, but that would take hours to get to. By that time there was no doubt in his mind that they’d be closed. Neb blinked thinking back to their conversation. He hadn’t introduced himself yet had he. ”Oh pleasure to meet you. I’m Neb. I probably should’ve mentioned that earlier.” he said extending his hand to shake hers, if she took it. He eyes strayed to the kids who were in sight, but rather far away. ”Mind if we walk and talk?” he asked. He was supposed to be keeping an eye on them after all. Erik had to smile at the male and nodded as her glasses slipped down slightly, it seemed she wasn’t meant to be at the theater tonight it seemed. She nodded, as he gave her name,
Neb… nice name. haven’t heard of that name yet.
Erik spoke then after thinking that,
Ok, I can walk with you for a bit.
She didn’t have anything better to do and if he tried anything she could just zoom out of there in a hurry. She eyed the kids, too far away for a human to quickly get to them if anything happened to them. She frowned then asked,
What are you doing out here with the young ones?
She pushed her glasses up as they had slipped down, as she started to walk after the kids. Her ong black hair flowing out behind her as she moved, she moved as if walking as slow for her, which it was. But still to blend in with humans, one had to move at snail speed. A speed that is freaking annoying if anyone asked her; but luckily no asked her.
Not far away hidden out of sight was pair of humans studying the kids then Erik’s interaction with them; they were from the lab. they were at this time studying how to best trap her and take her back or was it best to leave her out with the humans?
Derk, what do you think?
Derk lifted his head and frowns,
Well, she hasn’t reacted negatively to the group kids yet. I would leave her out there until she messes up and then take her. Then she would be better convinced then that she wouldn’t fit in with humans at all. but, the group might react negatively to her as well. Let’s see how this plays out, ok, Al?
Al nodes his head and turns back to staring at Erik, his scars from her still showing though his shirt. He truly wondered if she would work with humans that well.

Neb nodded as he started walking towards the direction the kids were. ”Thanks.” he simply added letting out a sigh he didn’t know he was holding as the kids started to get closer to them. ”Young ones?” Neb asked considering the phrase for a second before it finally. ”Oh you mean the kids?” he asked only a tad of question in his voice. ”Well, like I said it’s not the best part of town and I’m off from school. So I figured I would help out. Since most things run on dueling theres only a little chance of them actually getting out.” he said his face taking on a sad look. ”I know it’s probably not fair, but it requires money or just plain luck for people to get out of here. So I do what I can where I can. No reason not to right?” he asked turning to look at her. He watched as she pushed her glasses back up. ”If you don’t mind me asking….” he said trailing off trying to think of how to word it. ”You’re not from around here are you?” he said. It was her eyes that made him ask. Tag: Erik Song: ”If Today Was Your Last Day” by Nickelback Key: Thoughts; ”Dialouge”Notes:

Erik nodded at Neb’s question; young ones, or kids they were the same to her mind, pity they were in the poor part of the city. she nodded at his words of needing luck or money to get out of this place. It looked like it was just that, poor. But she didn’t know anything, she figured this place was nice really, it was better the towns back at her home. They didn’t even have pavement, just cut stones and lots of mud for roads. Erik suddenly blinked slightly startled at Neb’s question; she hadn’t expected it. She had her glasses on, didn’t she? He must have seen her eyes when she pushed the glasses back up. She sighed slightly before answering his question,
Indeed, I am not from around here.
She had become guarded in her manners now; it was almost as if she was waiting for the strike back to come back at her as it normal did in other places. They could forgive her if she had a pair glasses on, but without them. That was another story. In fact she was waiting for a pair of contacts to come in so she could go without glasses; she finally ordered a pair of contacts. She had hoped that they would be in before this, but they had told her she couldn’t rush a work of art. She glanced down and took a step away from Neb before she spoke again and took her glasses off and sighed again as if she was going to pay for this later,
Is that a problem for you?
Her eyes spoke volumes of distrust and a need of wanting to trust him as she stared at Neb waiting for his answers.
Well look at that Derk, she took her glasses off for the boy.
Al spoke softly almost in wonder, he wondered if she was going to react like she did last time to him when he had pushed her too far, as he put a hand on his left shoulder. Derk turned and studied her before speaking,
Did he ask a question before that?
Al shrugged not knowing,
I didn’t see. So I really don’t know.
Derk wrote the facts down,
Well in that case, we will wait. But if anything happens negatively, we will have to remove her.
Al looked at Derk showing a slight smirk,
Trust me, I will behave and won’t push her….. much. when we do remove her.
Derk frowned and wondered why they had sent Al to him. He had studied Erik from a far since three months after she had gotten away from them. He had the opinion that Erik was just like a human now, if she had her eyes worked on she would be human now. she had no need to be watched; but that was just Derk’s opinion of Erik.

Neb shook his head and held up his hands as if to apologize. ”No, I didn’t mean that at all.” he said in a hurry to clear things up. He paused. ”It’s just that your eyes made me wonder.” he paused to shrug. ”If you don’t want to talk about it we can do that too.” he said looking at her looking into her eyes. Eyes that were full of distrust suddenly. ”I didn’t. I mean. What I meant is.” he said before letting out a sigh. He really wasn’t good with these things. ”It’s just, I was curious. I’ll drop the subject if you want.” he said. His curiosity aside it was her privacy. He turned his attention back to the kids. ”I’m not going to hurt you or be mean to you because of it.” he said more quietly. Erik frowned and sighed as she spoke slowly to Neb,
Well since you feel that way… then I will tell you why my eyes are different and a little history…
She paused, as she thought about how she hadn’t told anyone willing what she is and what she could do. She frowned and then ducked her head slightly before speaking as she remembered the lab and the people in it, she hadn’t understood a lot then of humans, but not all of them were like Al or the other ones, most of the humans she had met were like Derk. She spoke slowly,
I am not human, if you haven’t guessed that already, thus my eyes. I am an Aijjia, sent here to look at you humans to see if you were worth the invasion. I decided that it wasn’t worth it, because of many factors that played out in the mission. The mission didn’t fail for the one that I was to report… through for myself, it failed since I missed the ship, because my user dropped me when a fight broke out as the ship was taking off.
She looked down and then laughed softly and hollowly and added,
It’s slightly ionic that I said that humans couldn’t do things like my race. But Humans must be a branch of Aijjia. becouse you humans can touch the Aijjias if they wished.
She sighed and then looked at the kids that were slightly closer now and spoke in a low voice,
Young are the gift of life in my race, and I have seen that it’s the same here. So it’s nice to meet someone that cares about them.

Neb blinked at her next words. Not…human? To be honest he had never outright dismissed the theory of other life, but neither had he spread it around. So the fact that she said that. It was odd to say the least. He listened as she spoke. He was frowning by the end of it. Mission? User? What did any of that mean exactly? He didn’t understand a bit of it. He was trying to work it out in his head. She had come to see if they were worth invading? He didn’t understand after that though. ”User?” he asked hesitantly. Assuming she wasn’t just messing with him he still didn’t know what that meant exactly. He didn’t even think of what it could mean. He frowned even more at her next words. Touch the Aijjias? What did that mean? Did that mean before she thought that they couldn’t poke them or something? ”Touch the Aijjias?” Neb echoed Erik, but only his was in a question. He turned to watch the kids as they ran across the plaza. ”Um, thanks.” Neb said at her last comment. ”Like I said if I can help why don’t I help?” he said shrugging it off. Erik cocked her head at Neb’s question of user, she paused and then chuckled, she had confused the poor male didn’t she. She nodded at his next question before she spoke after his comment for her words on the young, she then spoke,
Im sorry, I am use to people understanding me, but a user is someone who can use my other forms to protect people. But you humans can touch us aijjia’s in the sense of messing with our sense of good will for intellect life is what I guess is the words I am hunting for. But, yes it’s a bit much to tell a perfect stranger, I’m sorry for dumping it on you.
She frowned and eyed the kids again as they raced across the plaza.
Derk sighed as the phone rung in his pocket and he turned and answered it, and walked out of the room he was standing in, Al on the other hand had move closer to the window and frowned then eyed the kids, they would get to the base of the building, and if he could make Erik react negatively by then he could take her back to the lab and have his revenge on her that way. He turned, his bright green eyes frowning and then moving out of the room out of the other door he made his way down to the street corner and waited for them.
Erik frowned at the man coming out the building a few blocks in front of them, it looked like Al. but she really couldn’t tell if it was Al or not. She would have prefer it to be Derk, he was nicer then Al in the sense he would sit there and listen to her, she frowned and kept a eye on the kids and the man but then her face smoothed out and a slight smile was on her lips then.
Derk moved back into the room and frowned, Al just vanished and he was due to go back to the Lab for his next mission,
Where is he?
He frowned, with his earlier statement about Erik he frowned and moved over to the window and looked down then sighed,
Oh Al. why?
He frowned and started to make his way down the building to stop Al from messing up. he wasn’t about to send Erik back to the lab over a hare-brained stunt of Al’s.

Neb shrugged. ”You mean we can interact with your emotions?” he asked thinking that was the same thing. ”As for all the information. I suppose it happens. he said shrugging. That was entirely true. No matter what it could happen and it had happened to him several times. He watched the kids run by as his duel spirit appeared at his side. ”Go to them now.” it said. Neb turned to stare at it as he would see the man emerge from the building. Neb frowned picking up his pace. He reached the kids at about the same time the man did. ”Can I help you with something?” he asked motioning for the kids to come back. He trusted his duel spirit a lot. If there was something that worried him it was at least worth looking into. Erik frowned as she followed Neb up to Al as she mentally asked herself,
Al… what are you trying to do?
She blinked as Derk come out of the building and he seemed be angry. She stopped behind Neb and stared at Al slightly put out that he was here. she ddint react to Al at all, but she started to step past Neb, once she saw Derk. Because Al was just a reminder of her past more than Derk.
Derk moved over to Al and placed a hand on his shoulder and spoke in a low voice to ,
Your to report to SSI in 1400 hours, Al.
Derk looked over at Erik, he remembered the frist time he had met her, the hospital room when she woke up. he spoke to Neb,
Pardon, my fellow college. He is overacting today, I believe. Isn’t that right, Al?
Al frowned then shook his head at Derk, then hissed out,
No. I am not overreacting at all. it needs to be done Derk.
Erik blinked, she knew where this was going now and she frowned and before anyone could react she pushed Al up on the wall. While she moved faster than a normal, she didn’t use her speed to hurt Al at all. She spoke a low angery voice to Al,
And getting close to young to make me react in a manner that is not pleasing to humans, is not fair you know.

Neb blinked at the two men. SSI? What was that exactly? And one didn’t seem to be in a good mode. Why was that? Bad day? Or was something else making him angry? He looked between them before looking back to Erik. Could it be her? ”Oh that’s-“ he had about to say fine before the other person cut him off. Neb blinked as Erik suddenly rushed forward. What just happened? he wondered as he took a step forward and placed a hand on Erik’s arm. ”Erik it’s okay.” he said to her. Whatever was happening here it seemed these three knew each other. If that was the case it probably wasn’t for the best to be acting like she was. ”Just calm down.” he said turning his gaze to the other person. ”I don’t know who you are, but I would like to ask you to leave.” he said. It was his way of trying to avoid anything unpleasant that might happen. Of course if he did try anything he knew a few thing to defend himself. She frowned as Nob spoke and then she looked at Ale hard before she stepped away from and then walked off. She paused a few feet from Neb and spoke in a hard tone,
And on that note. I am out of here. Derk, good luck with the clean up with the trash. little people should stay away from the one at the wall.
She waved a hand and started to move off in an manner of being ticked off, heading for the park down the street. Derk sighed slowly, he knew this was a minor offense that Erik had just committed really, he spoke to Al,
Come on man, you did enough damage, you should leave now like the boy said.
Al twitched, and then he frowned as he spoke slowly to himself before he stared at Neb then back at Derk in a look of anger,
She didn’t kill me, why?
Al moved from the wall then Derk frown then placing his hands on Al’s shoulders and moved him back into the building. And then Derk turned back to Neb as he stood in the doorway,
Sorry about Al. he’s an hot headed when it comes to thinking it seems today. Keep the kids away from him if he is around again. He’s not really child friendly. But he isn’t going to be around anymore. If you ever see Erik again, tell her that Al isn’t staying around, now I need to make sure he gets his flight. Now I need to go clean that mess up now with the blow head.
Erik was headed for a swing set to sit at and just think as Derk spoke to Neb. she looked up at the blue sky and wished a rock would come and kill her then. She looked down at the ground and put her glasses back on. She blinked, she hadn't answered Neb's question and it was on her mind heavily as she sat there staring at the ground.
