These will be a series of 26+ monsters that, similar to numbers, revolve around Letters.
Because who doesn't want to spell out inappropriate things during a duel?!
Once all 26 are actually made, there is an Arc planned to go with them, and some subsequent cards that will follow them as well, such as support cards, and the highly revered WORD cards.
Basically, these are the Letter cards. By spelling out certain letters, you can overlay those letters to make WORDS Xyz that can drastically change the outcome of the duel. For example, Overlaying L, O, V, and E will get you Words card Eternal LOVE, or H, A, T, and E will give you Everlasting HATE.
Cards with 5 letters or less are a hint to duelists that they should assemble those letters together to form a WORDS card.
Vowels are the most difficult to summon, as you need those in everything. X, Y, and Z are their own class of letter cards, acting as somewhat of the God Cards of the set.
Effects and stuff will be made up as post count increases. Until then, this is more or less an idea dump.

The backstory will be something along these lines:
Industrial Illusion's president visits a child who is diagnosed with a deadly, unknown disease that rapidly destroys it's victim from the inside out, it's first target being, for whatever reason, the victim's voice. This child could not speak ever since birth, and was incapable of crying even, yet through heavy dedication before this disease fully took it's toll, went to extensive measures to be able to communicate with other people, through writing, sign language, etc.
However, as he further progressed to his eventual death, he began to make a series of cards in a notepad, with the note attached at the end: "These are the letters I work with every day to communicate, but to say them is beyond my ability. My only wish is for duelists around the world to be able to talk, and say all the things I never could say in my stead with these cards, and with it, my sincerest wishes that duelists around the world will come to an understanding with one another." After a month of making these cards, he died a silent, painless death. But Industrial Illusions, feeling the passion from this Kid's final breath, would not let his final wish nor death be in vain, and introduced the Letter cards, all for the sake of a child that could not speak.
"All the things I've wanted to say to everyone in this world.. they exist in these cards."
I'll just make what I can. If anyone else actually wants to make a few, effects and whatever are up to you. This poast introduces the HATE combination, and a bit of the effects that work together with the other Letter monsters. This also introduces three new types as well: Consonant Letter, Vowel Letter, and Words, specifically made for this archetype. This way, any support cards or anything will be very specific on what they target involving the Letter Xyz.
And no, I'm not going to make punctuation monsters.
Letter A - APOCALYPSE
Level 4 [Warrior/Vowel Letter] 1400/900
When summoned: special summon 1 Consonant Letter monster from your deck that is level 4 or lower; It cannot attack, and it's effect(s) is negated. When this monster is destroyed by battle and sent to the graveyard: Special summon it in Face-up defense mode at your next standby phase; It's effects is negated.
Letter H - HARMONY
Level 2 [Fairy/Consonant Letter] 500/1400
Two level 2 monsters
If a Vowel Letter or a Consonant Letter Monster is on your side of the field (excluding this one): You may discard a card to search your deck for a level 4 or lower monster; Add it to your hand. This effect can only be used once per duel.
Letter T - TURMOIL
Level 3 [Fiend/Consonant Letter] 1000/1000
When successfully summoned from the deck: Target one monster; It's effect(s) is negated.
Letter E - EMOTION
Level 4 [Warrior/Vowel Letter] 1500/600
If there are no other monsters on your side of the field except this card: special summon 1 Consonant letter from your deck onto the field; It cannot attack. This effect can only be used once while this card remains face up on the field.

Rank 5 [Xyz/Fiend/Words] 2700/2000
Letter H - HARMONY, Letter A - APOCALYPSE, Letter T - TURMOIL, Letter E - EMOTION
This can only be Xyz summoned by overlaying the required Xyz monsters and their materials. When summoned; detach all materials that are not Letter monsters. Once per turn; you can detach 1 material from this card: destroy a card on your opponent's side of the field. If this monster is to be destroyed by battle or card effect; detach all materials and negate it's destruction.
