Character Personality:
Kenji is very headstrong and determined. He isn't one to go back on his word or promises. He is oblivious when it comes to girl's flirting or liking him. He is quite loyal to his friends. Kenji has only his mother and no siblings so he really treasures his friends like family. He also loves to prank and sometimes gets carried away when doing one. He loves to duel above all else. It is his dream to become the best so that everyone would come to respect him especially those back home. He mainly wants to earn the respect of Takashi Yamoto his hometown current top duelist.

Biography:
Kenji comes from a low class rich family. His father died a few days before he was born so he never really knew him. His mother is a successful bakery shoppe chain owner. Despite this Kenji prefered the low class life. He enjoyed going to public school though no one really liked him cause they thought he was just a rich snob. Disheartened Kenji turned to duel monsters and found he enjoyed the game more than anything. Wanting to work hard in order to obtain a good deck and respect Kenji asked his mother to cut off his allowance. He then got a job working at a package delivery service.
Within a few months he had obtained his 'remove from play' deck. He then began entering local tournaments in his home town and managed to win every single one. Then he met Takashi Yamoto in a tournament and was defeated despite putting up a good fight. Takashi then insulted him before leaving denying Kenji a rematch. Not willing to give up and wanting to prove himself Kenji signed up for duel academy and aced his entrance exam. As a reward his mother then bought him a whole store's worth of cards and so wanting to start fresh he built his 'egyptian gods deck' leaving his 'remove from play' deck at home. Ready now he sets off to Duel Academy to make a name for himself and hopefully some great friends who will respect him.

He usually carries his deck case in a frog wallet and his duel disk in a small shoulder backpack.
